Recipe for Quality Language Lessons

To Plan a Foreign Language Lesson Conceptually

  1. Select a topic or setting to feature in the lesson.
  2. Write a short, short story based on the chosen setting or topic as a text file.
  3. Include short, coherent conversations that occur in the story.
  4. Compose content questions and answers based on story and conversations as a text file.
  5. Extract sentences used in all of the above with sentence parsing tool.
  6. Extract words used in all of the above with text parsing tool and add new words to dictionary.
  7. Draft a plan to video-tape images necessary to illustrate both narratives and conversations.
