The Testing Service

This service is similar in appearance to the exercise service.  The major differences are that 1) the user is never shown the right answer (after all, it is a test), and 2) the questions (10 by default) are randomly selected from the question bank to form a unique test each time.  This ensures a better, more challenging testing environment. Each time the student takes a test it is different.  (For more details please view this brief document.)

Like the exercise service, the instructor creates and maintains testing content using our on-line tools.  The service allows the user three attempts to get the answer correct, after which it moves on to the next question. Using the web browser the instructor can also upload pictures (JPEG format), sounds (WAV files), or Real Audio presentations for use in this courseware !
