FastestVPN has gained a significant amount of attention from its promise of a VPN subscription priced at just $0.83 (£0.67 at the time of writing) per month – and there’s no doubt that this price is outstanding. As one might expect, there are a few catches: you have to commit to a five-year plan, and you’ll have to pay the full amount upfront in a one-off payment of $49.95 (£38.31). However, if you’re looking to make a long-term choice and capture an outstanding price, then the five-year plan is absolutely worth considering – especially as there’s a 15-day “money back guarantee”, so if you change your mind, you should be able to receive a refund.
Outside of the five-year plan, the costs are also reasonable. The annual and triennial plans also offer good value at £1.91 and £0.85 per month respectively. However, as with the five-year plan, you’ll need to make an upfront payment for the full term in order to access the discounted price – so, for example, the annual plan is a single payment of $29.95/£22.97, rather than a monthly debit of £1.91. Alternatively, you could pay monthly: this is the most expensive option at $10/£7.67 per month, but this is fairly comparable with other VPN services and thus remains a decent price if you’re hoping to avoid a long-term commitment.
Overall, with a number of different options available and the particularly-impressive value found in the five-year plan, we believe there’s no faulting FastestVPN when it comes to price.
